Circa 1988
I was intrigued when I learned that Moqattam was submerged under the sea at some point in history, so my father took me and sometimes my sister up the hill to visit any construction site where there was already so much “digging.”
It took a small hammer’s knocks on any rock to discover petrified marine fossils.
