Bright Star 2023
The multilateral exercise continues at the Mohamed Naguib Military Base till 14 September.

The two units — Counter-Terrorism Force (aka Black Cobra), which falls under the Central Security Forces, and Hostage Rescue Force (HRF), which falls under Homeland Security — have been involved in human rights abuses during counter-terror and anti-crime operations. They have been taking part in the Bright Star war games since 2021.
